2024 Annual Review

Giving Back

Our professional success gives us the opportunity to support our communities. In 2024, we launched a new way for employees to volunteer — WTO Gives. As a community service initiative within the WTO Foundation, our team members donate their skills and time to those in need. We partner with local organizations at least quarterly. Our staff and lawyers are committed to making a difference in our communities.

A firm presentation highlighted that ‘Volunteerism’ is one of our core values. It made me think: WTO has so many caring people willing to give back, so we can and should do more to live out this value.”

A Year Filled with Service

Through WTO Gives community service projects, in 2024 we:

  • Helped fight childhood hunger by packing about 15,000 weekend food bags with Food for Thought

  • Brightened the holidays for more than 900 children through a toy drive with A Precious Child

  • Packed more than 800 shoes for children in need with Soles4Souls

  • Filled 50 backpacks with school supplies for the Denver Human Services back-to-school drive

  • Raised money for unhoused veterans with Veterans Community Project

  • Built bikes for local students with Wish for Wheels

  • Landscaped to benefit animals at a shelter with Max Fund

  • Raised funds for a local bakery and coffee shop in need, Justice Java

  • Volunteered at an education and job skills workshop, helped service meals, and assisted with warehouse organization at the Denver Rescue Mission

  • Packed hygiene bags and made blankets for unhoused military veterans with the Bill Daniels Veterans Service Center

Investing in Our Community

We established the WTO Foundation as a charitable giving initiative in 2005. Through the years, we steadily have strengthened our commitment to help those in need.

In the past two decades, the Foundation has:

  • Donated more than $3.1 million

  • Spent thousands of hours working in our communities

About 85% of our team members volunteer time or money each year.
