Our team members strive to attract, retain, and advance the best and brightest legal talent from all backgrounds across Colorado and the United States. In 2024, we partnered with other law firms and organizations to promote the continued diversification of the legal profession and encouraged and supported high school and college students from underrepresented communities to pursue legal education and careers in the law.
Diversity in Law
We support diversity in the lawyer pipeline through our involvement with “Law School … Yes We Can!” The organization helps students from diverse backgrounds pursue careers in law.
Several WTO attorneys have mentored LSYWC fellows over time, and the WTO team had a great time celebrating LSYWC’s 10-year anniversary during last year’s Decade of Difference event.
Cultural Celebrations
We celebrate the diversity of our local communities. For example, for National Native American Heritage Month, IndigeCorp 5280 shared their educational stories and cultural dances at WTO. During this event, we learned about their members’ family histories and traditions and enjoyed dancing together.
